Leopardheart
A golden spotted she-cat moved carefully into the training hollow, her mouth open to scent anything unusual. She'd noticed, just like all cats, that the rogues were bothering Clan cats way to often. The pretty she-cat was not worried, though she should have been, she'd just turned a warrior only two days ago. With her head held high the somewhat arrogant she-cat stopped short, waiting as another she-cat padded into the clearing. "Nice day for hunting huh?"
Panthersong
The black she-cat that followed Leopardheart was Panthersong, her sister. The long-limbed she-cat's fur was bristling with worry and her eyes were huge. Unlike her sister she was much more cautious, not as arrogant or rash. "Maybe we should have another cat with us." She meowed quietly, wishing that her two brothers were here. Except Tigerpaw was still in the MedicineCat den after that fight with the rogues they had. Yes it had earned her, Leopardheart, and Lionpelt's warrior names but Tigerpaw was hurt. Plus cats had been disappearing left and right. "Even if Smallstar didn't order it, it seems like we shouldn't be alone. What if we get attacked?"

Perhaps the two she-cats would have been happy to see the clan good luck charm himself padding through the undergrowth. However that was for their feelings to decide. The black and white tom appeared rather frazzled, somehting Luckypaw hardly ever appeared as. His mentor followed him, obviously outraged for some reason or another, "But Grassroot..." Luckypaw meowed. The two cats obviously hadn't seen the hunting sisters.
"But nothing!" Snarled Grassroot, his eyes glinted in anger as he leaned forward. His mangled leg behind him pained him as he shot towards the cat, "That is how training is done!"
"But..." Luckypaw looked at his mentor confused, "The way I heard it you were to keep your claws sheathed, even the mentor."
"You heard wrong!" Spat Grassroot, "You're to have your claws sheathed but I don't! Do you think your enemies will have their claws where they cannot hurt you! You must learn properly how to protect yourself!"
"Then why are you angry that I dodged?" Luckypaw meowed, "If I hadn't I would have been clawed in all fairness..."

Panthersong
The black she-cat, Panthersong, turned her head in surprise when she saw Luckypaw one of the newer apprentices. Horrified she watched as Grassroot leaped at the small tom. What is the matter with him! He knows thats not how you do it! For once the normally calm and collected she-cat shot forward to barrel the mentor out of the way. Which was about as mouse brained as spitting on your leader. She was a younger warrior, he more experienced. Who was she to question his training methods.

Leopardheart
Snapping her head up Leopardheart watched in amusement and surprise as Panthersong flung herself at Grassroot. "What are you doing?" She snorted confused beyond all possible reasons. Wow she is more dumb then I thought.....hmmm why is Grassroot training him like that? Leopardheart, like her sister, was know curious. But unlike the black she-cat she did not move. She simply watched the little scene with interest.

Grassroot's eyes blazed with outrage as the she-cat barreled into him. He whirled spitting, but it was obvious by the desperate panic in his eyes that he felt like he had been caught doing something terrible. Luckypaw, beside him, blinked in surprise and watched the black warrioress with fascination. His heart soared, she was so beautiful. "You shouldn't interrupt a training session for no reason Panthersong." Grassroot was saying. "Hi Leopardheart! Hi Panthersong!" Luckypaw meowed, Grassroot shot his apprentice a look of irritation.

~Panthersong
A rush of embarrassment, her ears burning with absolute shame as she locked eyes with Grassroot. She wanted to be regarded as a good warrior, not a new one that made stupid mistakes. It was not her place to question how Grassroot's mentored Luckypaw. Still she felt that using unsheathed paws was a good way to get an unnecessary wound. "Sorry, I wasn't thinking." She meowed honestly. Most cats would clam they were doing nothing, but she was one to the tell the truth. Carefully she took a step back, dipping her head respectfully to the older warrior.

Leopardheart
quietly, bemused and a little frustrated Leopardheart took a gentle step forward. Her paws making no noise as she padded over to each of the cats. She hardly even looked at her sister as she stalked up to Grassroots. "Sorry about that," She purred kindly, though her tail told a different story. Lashing back and forth as she sat gracefully beside Panthersong. "Panthersong can be really mouse-brained sometimes."

"Not like she didn't make that obvious or anything." Grassroot spat in outrage. He narrowed his green eyes in pure hatred at Luckypaw, "Luckypaw that's enough training for today. I'm going back to camp." As he padded away he thought in anger, /You got lucky again Luckypaw, but I'll make sure that luck runs out. One day.../ Luckypaw just smiled warmly at Leopardheart and Panthersong, oblivious to his mentors thoughts.

Panthersong
She watched him go, her head tipped to the side. "Kind of rude isn't he," She whispered to Leopardheart, lowering her voice so that Luckypaw didn't here her. Then with a quick shake of her head she turned to look at the young apprentice, a smile crossing her face. "Would you like to hunt with me? We might as well bring back some fresh kill right." She looked happy, now that Grassroot was gone. Not to mean but....honestly she did think of him as rude.
"It would be fun, I could show you some hunting mo...I mean never mind." She grumbled awkwardly, her eyes looking down at her paws. She was a new warrior, plus Luckypaw was not her apprentice. She was not to train him, maybe give him some pointers here and there but no training.

Leopardheart
Silently she watched, her eyes narrowed in quiet concentration. Her mind however was on something completely different. It was not on her sister, nor the little tom that was with them. Instead it was wondering to Foxheart....again. Quickly she shook her head, hoping to clear the cobwebs out of her head. It was no time to rush off from her sister, but she was fidgety. Plus she'd heard the last of her sisters comment, and no she didn't particularly want to hunt with Luckypaw. Not to be mean or anything. So she took a quick step back, a smile playing across her maw.
"Why don't you just hunt with him Panthersong," She meowed, her voice shaking a bit. Quickly she cleared it before speaking again. "I'll go this way....we'll...we'll do better if we split up." and with that she spotted she-cat was gone, her tail brushing the bracken as she moved.

L U C K Y P A W [/b] "Bye Leopardheart!" Luckypaw meowed, waving his tail in farewell. He turned to look at Panthersong, his heart pounding. His mouth felt dry, and his paws shook.
"I'd like you to teach me! Grassroot's teaching me fighting moves at the moment, so I'd love to learn some fun hunting techniques!" His eyes looked bright and happy as he gazed at the she-cat, "What should we work on?"
