[glow=white,2,300]Fickleheart[/glow] Fickleheart bounded into camp. He left his warriors after a quick word with them and headed to his Leader's den. As he came in he let out a greeting before ducking inside. Normally he would have waited to be invited but now...
His long-haired pelt was bristling with alarm. He dipped his head to Breezestar, "When we went to the border we discovered Bronzeclaw and Goldenpelt fighting with a rogue cat. As we came to help more attacked. We would have been crowfood if a RiverClan warrior hadn't stumbled on us." He hated admitting this but it was the truth, and he couldn't keep that from his leader, "She must have made the rogues think she had a patrol with them, the mouse-brain. Whatever it was they ran off as soon as she showed up."
"Our warriors fought with the power of LionClan." He meowed, "But there was a very large patrol of rogues and they kept coming. Beartooth and Goldenpelt followed them to make sure they've left the territory and they have."
He looked worried and blurted, "What should we do? We'll be prey in our own territory, and there is no way we can send an entire patrol of cats out every time a cat needs to make dirt but these rogues travel in huge groups!"[glow=white,2,300]>>For a spotlight, give me something I need something for protection Maybe flotsam junk will do just fine the jetsam sunk, I'm left behind I'm treading for my life believe me (How can I keep up this breathing)<<[/glow]

~Willing to Lead My Clan~[/shadow]
Breezestar sat in her den, thinking. The Gathering was coming up. Maybe she should do a naming ceremony, sometime soon too. Should she do it before or afterwards? At that moment, Fickleheart burst in, hopefully with news about the rogues, but he looked battle-scarred. She quickly decided she would figure it out later. "What happened?" she asked, extremely curious, but Fickleheart was already pouring out the whole story. She was surprised that a RiverClan warrrior had helped them. Breezestar was glad for their help, but was it just a start? Would RiverClan ask for something in return? She hoped not. She was glad when she heard how well her warriors fought. They had been trained well.
Breezestar replied to Fickleheart's question as calmly as she could, "We'll do whatever it takes to keep WindClan alive. For now, increase more border patrols, but think of quantity and quality. Also, would you please set up more patrols around camp to get it strengthened. Maybe we need a few walls..." She then hurried out of her den. She wasn't going to sit around and do nothing during this time of distress. Her clan needed her. [/color]
