Rainfire was sitting in his new den. He knew he had to leave soon to get his new name, Rainstar. He knew that when he left, Nightspirit, his new deputy would take could care of his clan. Some of him couldn't stop thinking about Mousepelt. He liked her.... It was weird. They had always been friends from kithood, but he never felt as he did now. Leafbare was coming and they would have to be more prepared. A few kits had already died, and they didn't need anymore deaths. Rainfires stomach growled and he just relized he was really hungry. He decieded to go and get something to eat. He walked out of his own den and too the very small food pile. 'The hunting patrol should be back pretty soon'. Rainfire thought to himself. He picked up a fish and saw Mousepelt near by and sat down by her. "Hi". He said a little nervously.
