Hollyreign's head was spinning. Twilightpaw...Twilightpaw... She let out a wail. She fell to the ground, purposely harming herself. "I am cruel! A monster! A monster!" She covered her nose with her paws, how could she attack an apprentice that was just barely...just barely an apprentice! Twilightpaw was practically a kit! A KIT!

"Hollyreign?" Twilightpaw mewed, forcing her paws not to shake. "Are you okay?" Slowly she came in, her blue eyes catching the light from outside, "Do you need anything? Food, someone to clean your pelt. Or look for ticks. Or something." She was keeping her distance, watching the old cat warily.

Hollyreign's head snapped up, almost giving her whip lash. She stared at the young cat in the entry. Finally in a soft and loving voice she had not used for seasons she meowed gently, "I'm alright deary. I'm a bit hungry that's all. And upset. I'm sorry I attacked you like that." She smiled at the pretty she-cat, trying to encourage her to do the same, "I have trouble thinking straight."

"That's okay!" Twilightpaw meowed, and she was surprised to find that it was for her. She smiled at the elder and ran out of the den. She returned with the biggest rabbit she could carry, "Here! This'll make you feel better Hollyreign!" She smiled at the old cat happily, "From now on you and I are best friends, okay? I don't care what anybody else says." Her ears pricked and she smiled, "I gotta go on patrol! I'll tell you what happened when I get back! See you Hollyreign!" It had never occurred to her that she would actually enjoy a punishment, until now. She smiled as she left the elder's den.
