Mousepelt
Mousepelt had gotten hungry, and she had been sitting on her lazy butt all day. She had decided to go hunting. She had been pondering her thoughts, so her feet carried her to the marshes, where she loved to play when she was little.
Mousepelt laughed as she remembered the days. She suddenly say herself, her creamy brown pelt getting plastered with dark brown mud. The other warriors would scold her when she got back to camp, soaked and drenched in mud. She smiled.
Looking around to make sure no one was near by, she ran full speed and jumped landing in a mud pile. Mud splattered everywhere, and Mousepelt couldn't help but giggle. She got up out of the puddle, and ran again. She jumped and landed in another mud pile. This one was a bit more sticky, but it didn't bring to Mousepelt's attention. She sat there a minute letting the mud soak her fur for a while. Then she put herself into a position to get out of the mud. She tried moving her paw, but for some reason it didn't move!!!
Mousepelt tried everything she could, but it wouldn't budge an inch. All her other paws were stuck too, and even worse, she seemed to be sinking! Yes, slowly, but surely, her body was being sucked down into the mud, and there wasn't a thing Mousepelt could do about it.
Mousepelt didn't care who saw her now. "HELP! HELP! " she called. She prayed with all her might to StarClan that someone would hear her cries, otherwise, she may not be seen again...

Rainfire was sitting in camp. He was hungry, also. Leafbare was coming soon.'The camp needs food,' he thought. 'I'll go hunting,' he soon decided. He left camp and wasn't thinking of where he was going. He was soon by mud, the marshes. Rainfire didn't hate the marshes, but he wasn't fond of them either. Rainfire saw a mouse and started to creep towards it. He was sneaking in front of it. "Almost got you," Rainfire whispered to the very fat, plump, mouse. He almost had it when he heard something and lost concentration. The mouse saw him and ran off. "Dang it!" he yelled quitely. "I almost had it! And it could have fed an elder or two!" Soon again he heard something. He wasn't sure of what it was but he decided to go and look. He kept walking towards the sound. Soon he relized when he got closer that it was a scream. He soon saw a limp body in the marshes. "An intruder?" he said angrily. Soon he realized who it really was. "Mousepelt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He yelled very very loud. He liked Mousepelt, and a little more than just a friend. He ran and got into the mud. He started towrds her."Almost there Rainfire!". He told himself. Soon he was right in front of her. 'I have to get her out of here!'. Rainfire thought to himself desperetly. He grabbed her by her scruff and pulled her limp body. It took all of Rainfire's strength, literally. He finally pulled her out. Then he checked if she was okay. Everything seemed all right, but you could never really tell.

Mousepelt
Mousepelt was relieved when a cat came bursting through the undergrowth. It was Rainfire, the deputy! Would he get mad at her for playing around in the mud? Mousepelt hoped not, and was glad when he pulled her out of the mud. 'That was a close one,' she thought. She smiled at the deputy cautiously. "Thanks." Would he scold her for being so careless? Would he tell the leader that she had almost killed herself? Her questions showed in her eyes, and she hoped that Rainfire would have mercy on her.
She looked down at her filthy pelt. All of it was the dark brown of mud. She licked desperately at her tail. If anything was clean, it had to be her tail. She could be covered in sticks and mud over and over again and she wouldn't care, as long as her tail was clean. The thick and almost metallic taste of mud sat on her tongue. 'Yuck!' she thought. I hope I can find a stream. I don't want to lick all of this off myself.

Rainfire brought Mousepelt to a stream where she could wash off. He was thinking. 'Should i tell my leader? Of course you should!' He thought.'Your a hero, you saved Mousepelt's life. And it is my duty as the deputy to tell her'. After Mousepelt was done they started to walk back to camp.

Mousepelt
~The Muddiest in RiverClan~
Mousepelt was grateful to the deputy. The stream nearby got most of the mud out of her pelt, but here and there, there were little patches of brown where you could tell that something had been splattered on her coat.
Taking the shortest walk to camp, Mousepelt felt uncomfortable around the deputy. The silence around them was deafening. With the entrance to camp in sight, Mousepelt darted through it before Rainfire could say a word. Do you want to continue this in camp?

Rainfire wondered why Mousepelt had just ran away from him so fast. Rainfire was so tierd and worn out. 'I need some sleep'. Rainfire thought. 'I'll tell my leader what happend later after i get some shut eye'. Rainfire walked over to the warriors den, found some moss, and immeditaly fell asleep.
Sure.
