Mousepelt
~Brave and Young Warrioress of RiverClan~
Mousepelt sat in the middle of camp, watching all the usual bustle. Apprentices in the elders' den trying to get the ticks off while the elders moaned and complained. Warriors lay in their den, snoozing or stretching. Others were outside and about, ready to go to a patrol or to train their apprentice.
An apprentice... I want one... no, I need one... Mousepelt thought. She had been lazy for the past three days, never venturing from camp, just eating and sleeping, with nothing to do. She didn't have an apprentice, and she was hardly ever picked for patrols; she wasn't even sure that any patrols were going out. The borders hadn't been checked in a couple days. Maybe, today, she would ask Despairingstar if she could go on a patrol. Would any cats go with her? Probably not. Oh well... she sighed.
Mousepelt forced herself to smile. If she asked the leader, she needed to be happy and polite. A sad or lazy cat in a clan is never good. She switched herself so that she would be happy-go-lucky. That was the mood she was in most of the time, as long as she was doing something. She got up and walked over to the leader. "Despairingstar? May I go on a border or a hunting patrol?" she asked with a big smile plastered across her face.

[glow=silver,2,300]Light[/glow][glow=teal,2,300]feather[/glow] The silver bengal she-cat made her way to the middle of the clearing. Her clear eyes traveled around the encampment with an almost bored or aloof expression. Still they lit up as Mousepelt said something of a hunting patrol. It had been ages since she had left the camp herself, and she was itching to get things going outside. "It does sound marvelous!" Lightfeather purred, entering the conversation with the costumary dip of the head of respect to her leader and the nod to her Clanmate, "I wouldn't mind going either, I need to stretch my paws."

I'm the Warning To whats Comming A breeze wafted through the camp, with it came the scent of fish, water, a RiverClaners. Desparingowl lifted her pink nose to it, no immediate danger. She padded gracefully out of her den, her small paws making not a sound. Her round, blue-orange eyes scanning the area, they landed on two of her cats. A pleasant smile appeared on her maw, the slim she-cat turned her body top them and walked up.
Good Evening Mousepelt, Lightpelt. Her ears turned some as the question Mousepelt asked caught up with her. She dipped her head in answer. Yes you may, I'll come with you I need a good walk. The elder she-cat said her voice in a slight purr. We will need pray as well. She said, her green-orange eyes drifted from one cats' face to the next.
Her eyes drifted away as she thought to herself, it had been a rough fall many cats had fallen ill, and their lives had drifted to the Starclan. The tawny she-cat's heart thumped a little as a sad light entered her eyes. Oh, she felt like she had failed, but she knew if the StarClan wanted to take someone they would, she couldn't stop them. When I die I will ask forgiveness She thought, she blinked slowly turning her eyes back to her Clanners. She'd protect them, she really would. Do you wish to start now? Or wait for others?

Mousepelt
Mousepelt nodded to her leader. "Good morning," she greeted. Despairingstar suggested to go with them, and Mousepelt nodded. Then she answered the question. "We could ask Snowywind to go with us. I'm sure she would like to go on patrol. I'll go find her now."
Mousepelt turned around, her brownish fur blended into part of the wall of the warrior den. She walked inside. "Snowywind! Snowywind! Want to go on a patrol?" she called. Hopefully she wouldn't be interrupting anything. That would be embarrassing. She turned back around and headed back to the patrol. This would be a nice patrol, with Snowywind, Mousepelt, Lightfeather, and Despairingstar.
((OOC: hehe, this will be a post for all the leaders/admins.))

((Do you mind if I join? Or do you only want it to be for the leaders?))
Mothfrost
The siamese she-cat was resting just a little ways away from where the cats began to talk. Slowly she opened one amber eye into a slit to watch as her leader and some warriors discussed a patrol. I wish I could go! Mothfrost though angrilly suddenly sitting up. The pretty she-cat shook her pelt in annoyance, riding herself of those thoughts. Most cats didn't even want her on patrols because her mother had been a stupid kittypet.
Bloodfur
Bloodfur pricked his ears in interest and then shook his head. If his sister was not brave enough to ask to go on patrol he would. With a determined expression crossing his dark ginger face the big tom strolled over to his leader. However before he could even open his mouth to speak Brackenflame appeard.
Brackenflame
"Do you mind if I go?" Brackenflame asked Despairingstar. As he passed his brothers kit Brackenflame leaned down toward Bloodfur. "Back of kittypet you'll just cause trouble." Brackenflame watched in satisfaction as his nephew's face filled with rage. The two blood red ginger tom's glared for a few heartbeats before Bloodfur spun around, snapped something to his sister and left the camp.

Mousepelt
Mousepelt was sitting in the clearing when three more warriors walked up, all wanting to go on patrol! Whispering to Despairingstar, she said, "I'm glad we have so many cats that want to go on patrol, but having 7 cats on a patrol is a bit much, don't you think? Maybe one more, Mothfrost perhaps?"
((I don't think all of them can go on the patrol Angel, but we'll let you join =).))

Snowywind After hearing Mousepelt calling her name Snowywind began uncurling from her soft nest. However before she'd even moved the she-cat came barreling into the den to ask if she wanted to go on patorl. With a twitch of her whiskers Snowywind barely held back her amusement. "Sure," She meowed quickly before leaning down to swipe her tongue over her white chest. "I'll be right out." Quickly the she-cat groomed the moss from her pelt and then padded over to where her leader and some more warriors were standing. She was just appearing intime to hear Brackenflame mutter something to Bloodfur only to have him turn tail and leave the camp. She blinked in confusion as she came up but it wasn't hard to tell what was going on. "Well Brackenflame said he wanted to come, why don't we let him. Unless he would rather stay and let Mothfrost come?" Turning to look at the ginger warrior. OOC: Yeah we can take one of your cats, why not Brackenflame...or Mothfrost.

Mothfrost
The Siamese she-cat stalked forward tell she was in front of Mousepelt, her pelt bristling. "Why don't you take Brackenflame, the loyal RiverClan warrior?!" She spat her amber eyes flashing. Suddenly she rounded on Snowywind a growl rising in her throat. "I don't want to go! I'm going hunting!" She turned quickly, her tail whipping out behind her as she bounded toward the camp entrance. "I'll be out with Bloodfur." Then she was gone, with nothing but the entrance quivering to suggest she was even there.
Brackenflame
The dark ginger warrior watched with amusement clear in his dark eyes, his whiskers were twitching and it seemed he was having a hard time holding back his laughter. Then he turned to the others, snorting as he did. "Good riddance, they wouldn't be any help anyways." He meowed his tail held high. He knew most cats hated his brother for taking a kittypet for a mate, and he also knew that most hated Mothfrost and Bloodfur too. Though most were beginning to forgive and forget. He didn't want that, maybe one day they would leave if he kept reminding them that they were only half forest born, which didn't make any difference. They were still unloyal.

[glow=silver,2,300]Light[/glow][glow=teal,2,300]feather[/glow] Lightfeather felt a snarl going acrossed her face. She whirled around, facing Brackenflame with a fury that many cat's in the Clan knew about and respected. She hardly ever got angry without reason. "Wouldn't be any help? I don't think it would cost them two mousetails to save any cat's pelt in this clan. I think that you yourself wouldn't save the clan for all the food in the world as long as you saved your rotting pelt in the end." She spat in rage, "Calling those cat's unworthy to be Riverclanners is an incredibly immature thing to ever say, especially in front of your Clan leader Brackenflame. If it were up to me, and you'd better thank StarClan it isn't, I'd force you to stay in the apprentices den to learn some respect. However, I don't think even that would work because it seems nothing can get through to you at all. Brackenflame, Bloodfur and Mothfrost are wonderful warriors. They may even be better warriors than you." She gave the tom a curt nod and said politely to Mousepelt, "I'm sorry she snapped at you. You know how her temper is however. I suppose a patrol is off for me, for I am going to see Bloodfur and Mothfrost. We'll turn that into a hunting patrol." She turned to give Brackenflame a flashing glare and then darted from camp.

I'm the Warning To Whats Comming The tawny she-cat pulled into herself, her green-orange eyes narrowing slight as her upper lids dropped to vail her thoughts. The older she-cat curled her long, single-stripped tail over her small paws. Her straight ears jerked from angle to angle as she listened to the bickering between the cats of her clan. A frown started from her eyes and ended up showing on her maw. She felt hostility rolling under all these cats, which wasn't good.
Desparingstar's eyes turned slowly to Mothfrost as she darted out of the camp. A single eyebrow rose, Very rash.. the leader thought to herself, her eyes turning to Brakenflame anger flared for a moment in her hidden eyes. But when Lightfeather's harsh words slid through her ears Desparingstar narrowed her eyes into dangerous points before she herself could respond to Lightfeathers snap the she-cat took off into the day.
A sigh fluttered from her chest as she straighten her backbone some and casted a even glance between all the cats. When she spoke her voice was even, and held an equal measure of warning. Which that said silently. We shall not mention this. We will have a Meeting about this later.
Mousepelt, Brackenflame, Snowywind, and I will go on patrol. We will search for food and look for travelers. Don't attack unless I give you permission. The she-cat said, her eyes moving onto each cat's face.
She stood gracefully and began padding out of the Camp the hair between her shoulders shifting as she tried letting the slight irritation roll off her shoulders. With a simple flick of her long tail she bunched up her shoulders and took off.

Rainfire saw Mousepelt looking at the apprentices training. He knew she wanted one. For so did he. But he would get one when his leader thought he was good and ready. And that was fine with him. He didn't care how long it took to get one, he just wanted one. Sometime. He walked over to Mousepelt and sat down by her. She looked at him and the continued to watch the apprentices. "Hi!". Rainfire said. But Mousepelt said nothing. It was like she didn't even know I am here. Rainfire thought. Suddenly Rainfire smelled fresh prey. After the elders are fed, Rainfire thought, i'll go get something. Mabye a vole.....

*ahem* No powerplaying Rainfire. That means you can't control my cats, no matter what. Please don't do that. Plus, Mousepelt has already left on the patol with Despairingstar.
