<><>Goldenpelt<><><><><> <><><><><>Bronzeclaw<><> <><>Klaw<><><><><> Bronzeclaw felt fury rise in his throat. He felt frustration too. This cat was fast! He spun around before she could nip his tail though. His claws sprang from their sheaths.
"Your territory!? These moors have belonged to Wind Clan for generations! This place is ours!"
He bared his teeth at her as he sprang for her. He wanted to dig his claws in her face, to rip into her and show her that there was no way this place was hers. And it never would be. He heard his brother yowl in outrage behind him, but didn't look to see how his brother was fairing or not.
As he fought with the rogue she-cat he caught sight of Twilightpaw and his stomach lurched. The cat she was fighting was suddenly a fast killing machine. His claws aimed for her head. He tore his gaze away as he heard his brother screech, "Twilightpaw!"
Fight the fight at hand. Bronzeclaw sprang at the she-cat in front of him, "You'll pay for what you did to Cornwhisker!"

~I May Look Small, But You Haven't Seen Me Fight~[/shadow]
Cliffpaw saw the rogue mouth the words, but he heard nothing. His ears were full of rage he felt for these cats. How could they kill cats so mirthlessly? The rogue pounced at him in the undergrowth. To Cliffpaw, everything seemed to go in slow motion, with no noise. He blocked it all out concentrating on his next move. Right when the she-cat rogue was a couple tail-lengths away from him, he ducked away to the right, lashing out his claws which would hopefully graze the she-cat's pelt and cause a bit of bleeding. Cliffpaw was quite good at detecting when a cat would pass him with their speed and position. But in the time of battle, his thought were not focused at how good of an apprentice he was before he even got a mentor. In fact, even though he was a very good apprentice, he was a little scared, and a very faint fear scent came off him.
Snow
Snow however felt no fear at all. She felt as if Bronzeclaw was nothing but a training tool that she had already killed and destroyed once before. His moves were predictable, all she had to do was notice what he did once, and when he bunched together the same muscles, she knew what he would do. This time, as Bronzeclaw pounced at her, she used her speed to her advantage once again. It was her best attribute, and she slid away to the left and circled around so she was facing Bronzeclaw once more. "If that's the best you got, then the Clans won't be staying here much longer, Bronze." She used the name his brother had called him. [/color]

Solarpaw;; //////////////Disobeying orders for you... Solarpaw had slipped away. She hated herself for it. She should have stayed at her mentor and grandmother's vigil. But she had kept seeing Goldenpelt. Dead. Dead. Dead.
She dug her claws in the ground when she saw Snow. An outraged caterwaul exploded from her mouth and she poured on the speed. "Dung eating badger!" She screeched as she threw herself towards the cats throat.
She wanted to kill her. More than any cat in the clearing what she wanted was for this white cat to bleed to death at her claws.Fickleheart;; //////////////Don't die on me now... Fickleheart snarled at the small cat in front of him. Grim satisfaction flickered in his golden orange eyes as his claws bit deep into the toms back. The cat bucked beneath him.
Fickleheart screeched in surprise as something came from behind him. He was lifted off the apprentice and shaken. The small deputy crashed to the ground, feeling dazed.Severed; //////////////I fight my own battles... Outrage flashed through Severed. Timber had thrown the tortoiseshell cat to the ground. "I can fight my own battles!"
The big tom did not reply. Severed's emotions ran wild. His hazel eyes flashed with rage. He stooped over the deputy and dug his claws into the tom's ear. "GET UP NOW!" He howled, "I am fighting you! GET UP!"
The cat sprang for him, and Severed snapped his fangs around the cats muzzle. The cat jerked back in surprise but Severed had his fangs locked around the cats mouth. Blood poured into his mouth and down his shoulders as the tom he was fighting tore at his head and shoulders.
Severed released the cat and sprang back. "MY FIGHT MINE!"Timber;; //////////////He would have hurt you... Timber's huge gray form stood stock still. He watched as the small clan cat fought with Severed. He had unlocked the terrifying part of Severed. The part that would kill to get his way.
Timber shut his eyes. He hadn't meant to. It was better for Severed to fight with no emotion. When he got like this cats were killed. And not always on the other side.

[Instincts are all I need.]
A hiss seeped out of Stream's mouth when the claws ran across her pelt. She acted on pure instincts now because they completely took over when the apprentice attacked. She spun and lunged straight for the apprentice's throat. In mid-air her claws came out as her body came straight at the smaller body. A quick kill she believed would be best, easiest. She didn't care if she killed the apprentice but her instincts as a rogue yearned to bite into a cat's throat, tear flesh with claws and feel the blood of a dying opponent bleeding out their life.

Snow
Snow's ears picked up a sound, a sound directed at her. As the she-cat pounded towards her, Snow remained calm. She ignored Bronzeclaw for the moment, and leaped at the she-cat, also aiming for the cat's throat. They were flying at each other, both aiming for throats, both wanting to kill, to get their way. They would surely collide. Snow was smaller, so she would easily be knocked out of the way when collided, but she could easily land back on her feet and spring again before the WindClan apprentice could say "mouse".
[shadow=brown,left,300]Cliffpaw[/shadow]
Cliffpaw analyzed the situation. Everything still seemed to be going in slow motion for him. The she-cat was pouncing, aiming for him, coming ever closer. He laid on his back, and exposed his underbelly slightly for a moment. He slid his back legs up, claws unsheathed, and pushed up against the she-cat as she landed on his body. She was hard to push, but she was flung through the air by it. He got up watching her every move. He hadn't been harmed too badly yet, but if he wanted to stay alive, he needed to be always alert. <><>Goldenpelt<><><><><> <><><><><>Bronzeclaw<><> <><>Klaw<><><><><> Bronzeclaw let out a startled yowl as Solarpaw pelted from nowhere. He jumped back, pelt bristling in alarm as the two she-cats sprang at each other. The murderous glint in Solarpaw's eyes made his blood run cold.
"Bronze!" Goldenpelt's yowl caught Bronzeclaw's attention and he saw the golden tabby streaking towards a gray cat(Timber). Bronzeclaw felt torn, would Solarpaw handle the situation. Then Goldenpelt flung himself on top of the huge tom and Bronzeclaw surged forward.
Then his world flickered and went dark. He hadn't seen the merciless dark form of the cat slinking beside him. The small black cat's eyes were narrowed. "Foolish warrior. Easy prey for a snake." He laughed high and cold and called out to the white she-cat, "Snow you have left me little to play with!"
Bronzeclaw staggered to his paws, his head was ringing. He blinked but the little cat in front of him slid in and out of focus. He barely ducked the claws coming for his head, and slipped and fell when he did. He was in trouble. (Emberflower tagged to help Bronze;<><>Snake<><><><><>

Beartooth
Beartooth pushed forward on strong hindquarters, his face contorted in fury. A yowl sprang from the tomcat's throat and his claws quickly unsheathed. No cat would ever steal something from WindClan! NEVER! Beartooth leapt forward, toward Friend and deputy. Ready to defend and fight for honor. This was WindClan's home and these ugly rogues were not taking it from them.
"I'm giving you one last change," He snarled his giant form stalking toward the small cat attacking Fickleheart. He was small, not very old. However Beartooth did not underestimate him, he merely stalked around him. His pelt bristling and his lips drawn back in a horrific snarl. "Leave now or you'll regret staying."
Beartooth leapt, not even waiting to see if the cat would leave. This was his home, his Clans. These rogues did not belong here and Beartooth was going to make them leave. With a ferocious snarl, and claws outstretched he swiped at the smaller cat.
Emberflower
I must be hearing things. Emberflower tipped her snowy white head to the side, listening carefully as she did so. No she was not just hearing things indeed a fight was in pursuit on the WindClan and RiverClan borders. "WindClan," She snarled bunching her muscles a mere second before she launched. Is there a patrol out there? No......Rainfire....Nightspirit didn't send one that way? Emberflower felt confusion wash over her as she increased her speed. Cats were fighting, yowling and spitting. However there was the distinct taste and smell of rogue in the air.
The RiverClan warrior did not freeze on the border, nor did she stop to think that maybe WindClan didn't want help from a warrior of a different Clan. But she was impulsive that way, her mind worked in different ways than others. There was no way she was going to miss this good of a fight for one and plus these rogues posed a threat to each and every one of the Clans. So with amazing grace Emberflower streaked across the border and right into a large black tom holding a smaller bronze colored tom. She did not stager nor did she lose her balance in anyway. Instead she reached out with thorn sharp claws, ripping at any hold she could get on the rogue cat, while her teeth lunged for his throat with deadly accuracy.

[Show me your pain...]
An instinctive hiss of pain and surprise left Stream's muzzle as she was sent back wards by the Windclan apprentice. She reacted immediately after that and twisted in the air so she land firmly on her paws. Her head then whipped towards the apprentice then her legs ran straight at him with her teeth barred and a growl threatening to come out. She acted as quickly as she could then she skidded to a stop in front of him and swiped right for his face aiming to blind him. If she couldn't go for an immediate kill then she would try to wreck his life in anyway possible. All she knew was that her instincts were screaming for the pain of the enemy and she could do nothing but obey.

[glow=yellow,2,300]Solarpaw[/glow] The yellow she-cat narrowed her blue eyes in hatred. She had time to let loose one last furious hiss before the two cats collided together. Solarpaw screeched with fury. She felt claws swipe her nose, for she was keeping her head low to protect her precious throat where her life force ran.
Solarpaw barely thought. There was no dodging and swiping in this fight. The cat's claws bit into her flesh and she dug her claws wherever she could. She snapped her teeth, kicked with her legs. Her anger made the deep blue of her eyes flash dangerously. You could my grandmother. She thought as she swiped and bit at the she-cat, She was all I had left of my kin.[glow=yellow,2,300]>>To believe in love is not to lose myself <<[/glow] [glow=white,2,300]Fickleheart[/glow] Fickleheart ducked beneath the tom's blows. His eyes glimmered. "You have little respect for your elders young cat." He spat, "You would do better to have some." Using his small size and his WindClan speed Fickleheart darted past the cat. He brought an unsheathed claw down on the tom's head before the cat could spin around. Just like any other cat it collapsed to the ground in a heap. He knew it was only unconscious, but not for how long.
"Cliffpaw!" He yowled, his eyes searching for his apprentice. That was the only cat he couldn't see on the battle field, where was he? He felt claws pierce his leg and turned in disbelief to the small black cat. The tom was only half concious but his claws bit deep into Fickleheart's flesh.
Odd... He thought, as the tom twisted up with unsheathed claws. Fickleheart jerked back in time only because he'd seen the move before, it was one of the simplest moves and ShadowClan cat's often used it. [glow= white,2,300]>>Let the rain of what I feel right now...come down Let the rain come down<<[/glow] [glow=blue,2,300]Severed[/glow] Pure joy exploded in Severed's mind as the tom's blood poured down from a wound in his shoulder. He laughed, "I hit you! I hit you!" He sounded just like a happy kit, or an apprentice maybe, who had succeeded in catching their first prey. His eyes glimmered with pride, "The warrior cannot fight me!" His head still throbbed, it was strange, but for some reason as the wind blew he tasted a scent from across the forest. His eyes clouded momentarily. That smell...
Then the tortoiseshell was on top of him. Claws bit his flesh. The tom on top of him bit him hard, he could feel his teeth scrape against the bone. Severed yowled and scrabbled away. Feeling confused and hurt the young cat tore off into the bushes.[glow=blue,2,300]>>This is a strange feeling<<[/glow] [glow=gray,2,300]Timber[/glow] Timber had spun to face the WindClan warrior. Sharp claws tugged at Timber's thick fur. He hissed. For such a small cat it had deadly strength. He raised a huge claw to hit it, he would snap it's neck and be over with it.
Then Severed cried out and every hair on his pelt stood on end. He turned his steel gray eyes to where the young cat was streaking away. He felt confusion, "Severedkit never flee's." [glow=gray,2,300]>>Where are you going?<<[/glow]

>Goldenpelt'sPOV<Goldenpelt felt a twinge of satisfaction as the cat beneath him met his claws. The huge warrior rose a claw and Goldenpelt flinched, sure that he would be dead in moments. Then the cat stopped. Goldenpelt followed his gaze to the young tomcat that his deputy had sent away wailing like a kit. Hope flared in his belly. This could be won!
Then he heard the cat utter something that made his head reel in confusion. "Severedkit never flees."
"Kit?" Goldenpelt uttered in surprise, his golden eyes flashed. "That black cat's a kit stolen from another Clan!"
He howled this realization and it gave him more fury. He bit down as hard as he could on the cat's tail. >Klaw'sPOV<Klaw had realized that his tail wasn't attacking him. He slammed the apprentice down with ease. His dagger like claws sprang from their sheaths as he jumped on the smaller cat. "Foolish kitty for making Klaw angry!" >Bronzeclaw'sPOV<Relief flooded through him as the she-cat came from nowhere. The black tom he had been fighting snarled at her and slashed his claws. Bronzeclaw's fangs bit around his paw and the black cat howled with pain. With the help of the Riverclan she-cat he hauled the tom and pinned him down.
"Release me!" He howled, his face was pushed into the turf. Bronzeclaw dug his fangs into the tom's shoulder, "Stop!"
"Leave!" Bronzeclaw snarled, letting the cat up. >Snake<He scrambled from beneath the Windclan cat's claws. Hatred burned in his eyes as he spun spitting. Still, if one Riverclan cat had come others would follow shortly, then he and the rogues would be outmatched.
"Fall back!" He ordered, spitting at the brown warrior once more before beating a hasty retreat. He knew the cats would follow, he was the Beta. They had to listen to him. As he ran by Snow he pushed the yellow tabby off of her, knowing Snow may not have heard the command in the heat of battle.
Then he sprang by Klaw. The huge tom sprang from the little apprentice with one last hiss before parting with the leader of his band. Snake knew those cats would listen, if they didn't they'd be left to die or be captured by the Clan cats.

[Back to normal. Again.]
Stream froze in the act of clawing the apprentice's face. Fall back, the command of Snake's echoed in her head. The instincts of battle flooded away from her and left her emotionless and defenseless once again. She could care less if she stayed or left but her body obeyed the command. She instantly shoved the apprentice away from her and into the clearing near his other clanmates without even checking to see if she had done any damage to his eyes. She no longer cared about that. She spun so quickly the patterns on her fur became a blur and she pelted after Snake without thinking about it.

[shadow=brown,left,300]Cliffpaw[/shadow]
Cliffpaw quickly retracted back. He wouldn't get hurt that easily. But the paw was too fast and it did hit his nose. He was suprised when she ran off. Did he really win the fight? No, he realized the rogues were retreating. The other rogues must have not have been doing well. Cliffpaw was relieved that the battle was over, however. He felt exhausted, asleep on his paws. He walked over to Fickleheart. "That was some battle," he commented. [/color] Snow
Snow was biting and clawing just as fiercely. She had been told as a kit that her mother had been killed by the Clans. Specifically, this clan, WindClan. It was why she had agreed to join this rogue group. They were fighting against a common enemy. These clans were a bunch of hogwash. Snake called a retreat, and Snow got angry. She didn't want to leave yet. She might have left scars, but no real damge had been done. Before she ran off, Snow dug her claws deep into Solarpaw's side, leaving gashes that started bleeding horribly. Then she reluctantly followed Snake off into the distance, away from the battle scene. [glow=yellow,2,300]Solarpaw[/glow]
Spitting Solarpaw tore herself from the cat. She winced at the gashes on her side, but she would live. As she watched the retreating cats she raised her voice in a wild caterwaul of triumph, but her hunger for the white she-cat's blood was not satisfied.
She had to stare at her paws to calm herself, for fear of lashing out at her Clan mates. Finally, after what seemed an entire moon she staggered to her paws and looked around.
[glow=yellow,2,300]>>until my wishes come true. I'll remain with a smile <<[/glow]
[glow=white,2,300]Fickleheart[/glow]
The black tom let out a yowl of triumph as the enemy cats began to leave. He watched with narrowed golden eyes until they completely vanished.
He looked around, "Beartooth, Goldenpelt." He meowed, picking the two least injured warriors. "Follow their trail, but stay hidden. Make sure they've left WindClan territory."
He blinked at the RiverClan cat, and began to pick his way to where she and Bronzeclaw stood, stooping to check on Twilightpaw who seemed fairly unhurt and his own apprentice. Cliffpaw had some scratches but it didn't look bad. He gave the apprentice a flick of his tail.
"It was, but WindClan were victorious." He meowed, "You seem exhausted, once we get home you should eat and go to sleep. I'll take care of reporting to Breezestar."
To Twilightpaw he added, "You were very brave. You haven't had battle training but you fought like a warrior. I'm sure your mentor is proud of you."
[glow= white,2,300]>>Where is the coastguard I keep looking each direction<<[/glow]
[glow=gray,2,300]Timber[/glow]
Pain tore up the base of Timber's spine and the cat raised a sheathed paw to knock that smaller cat away. No sense hurting him, he was defending his territory. Then Snake called the retreat. He pulled his tail away and bounded off, following the cat.

>>Bronzeclaw'sPOV<<Like a glint of bronze on my claw...Bronzeclaw turned to the RiverClan she-cat, dipping his head so that the first thing he saw of her were her small paws. Then he looked up and he almost audibly gasped.
"Th-tanks. Thanks. I mean Thank you." He meowed, flicking his ears at his stumble. "We would have been crowfood without you."
>Her eyes are so...green.< He thought while meowing, "I'm Bronzeclaw, what's your name?"
"Brooooonze!" The voice snapped the tom from his stupor and he saw Goldenpelt pratically barreling into him. "Sent those crowfood eaters away didn't we! That'll show them to step paw on WindClan territory!"
His golden eyes lit on the she-cat and they darkened, "Whose this?" >>Goldenpelt'sPOV<<The sun shines golden upon my peltWhen his brother floundered Goldenpelt snarled, "Well? What is this RiverClan cat doing in WindClan territory?" He let his claws slide out, "You're not with them?"
"No!" Bronzeclaw yowled, Goldenpelt glared at his brother as the tom continued, "She saved my life. I was just finding out her name when you became a grumpy old lump of fur."
